Originally hailing from the Midwest I moved with my mother to Silicon Valley at the age of 12 where my formative years were spent.  Growing up in the Bay Area during my teenage years opened up my eyes to the world around me, and a host of opportunities available.  I always enjoyed performing and mimicking voices for my family and friends, but it wasn’t till I was asked to join a heavy metal band just prior to my senior year of high school that I found I really could be performer - and I loved it.  This was my first experience at recording and spending extensive time in the studio behind the microphone.  I spent the next seven years performing and recording with my band including a couple of tours to support our recordings.

Unfortunately life caught up to me with a marriage and bills to pay, so I had to spend more time working as the band wasn’t able to provide the support we hoped it one day would.  As much as I loved recording and performing I had to make a choice to build my family with my wife and daughter, where I ultimately ended up with a career in the telecommunications industry.  Here I learned many facets of the industry, including sales, operations, and most of all customer service, and how important that is to foster successful, ongoing, working relationships that has been the cornerstone of my career.

Throughout my time in telecom I had many opportunities to record greetings and prompts for companies and individual users alike.  I was always available to perform this for many customers who were uncomfortable with recording and/or wanted a professional sounding recording, which I was able to provide as a part of my service and level of commitment to the success of their project.  I also had many different types of training, where I learned to program and maintain many Phone/Voicemail/IVR systems. During one of these trainings I was recording voice prompts for a voicemail platform where I was highly complimented on my voice from the instructor.  I had compliments similar to this in the past, but his enthusiasm made me realize how much I enjoy recording, collaborating with people, and providing that type of service to people.  I then decided to take the necessary steps to pursue a voice over career, and a dream of performing for people once again.  With my comfort behind the mic, ability and willingness to take direction and collaborate, along with my commitment to customer service, I look forward to working on your next voice over project.
